Our Mission
Fairgrove Family Resource Center's mission is to build a better future one family at a time by providing supportive and direct services to impoverished families empowering self sufficiency thus strengthening the family bond.
Throughout our 13 year history, our resource center has evolved from providing supportive services for one elementary school to surrounding area to a leader in serving children and families in Thomasville and eastern Davidson County.
Our center remains dedicated in our approach treating each client empathetically working jointly to achieve solutions by linking our clients to other local agency services to encourage ultimate self-sufficiency.
Our Goals
1. To eliminate hunger by meeting nutritional needs of low-income families.
2. To provide crisis assistance to distressed families
3. To link eligible clients to collaborative agencies with compatible services to encourage ultimate self-sufficiency.
4. To increase the communities' knowledge on the lasting effect that poor nutrition has on the health, social development, and overall welfare of people; especially children.
5. To broaden and strengthen community involvement in programs.
