Founded in 1995, Fairgrove Family Resource Center (FGFRC) has a vision for working with families centering on the belief that all families have strengths and our role is to help them build on these strengths. We look at how to support families in a way that helps them make positive choices for themselves and their families. Our center is dedicated to working toward making Thomasville and eastern Davidson County a safe, welcoming place to raise our children.
The services we provide support the growth and development of all family and community members. We believe in collaboration, creating trusting and responsive partnerships, and maintaining respectful relationships. FGFRC offers assistance with our food pantry, emergency financial assistance and, parenting classes on an ongoing basis. We have a Christmas program to help provide area children with needed clothes and toys.
FGFRC's mission is to build a better community one family at a time. The primary focus of our center is to provide supportive and direct services to children and families living in the City of Thomasville and eastern Davidson County, in North Carolina, to help them become self-sufficient and economically viable. Our programs are inclusive and focused on families. All services are free of charge and provided in a quaint, welcoming environment.
